I was born in Keelong, Taiwan, on February 15, 1968. I received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science
and Information Engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 1997.
I am currently a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information
Engineering, Ming Chuan University, Taoyuan, Taiwan. My initial research interests were computational linguistics and
Chinese language processing, and over time I evolved toward data warehousing, data mining,
information retrieval and extraction, and Internet technology.
